Configure keyword to subscribe to marketing messages
To enable guests to subscribe to marketing communication, include these keywords in the opt-out confirmation message for marketing email/text template.

Required roles: Any role with access to the Administrator mode.
Required permissions: None
At the organization level, click the Configuration icon.
Search for and select the Keywords to subscribe to marketing messages setting from the Guests section.
Enter the keyword and click Add.
Click Save.

Required roles: Any role with access to the Administrator mode.
Required permissions: None
At the center level, click the Configuration icon.
Search for and select the Keywords to subscribe to marketing messages setting from the Guests section.
Enter the keyword and click Add.
Click Save.
Clicking the keyword will remove it from the list.
Impacts and considerations
If the same number and keywords are used for both marketing and transactional communication, then the opt-in or opt-out is considered based on the most recent message sent. For example, if the opt-out keyword is PAUSE, the system examines the type of the last message—whether transactional or marketing—and opts the guest out accordingly. It is recommended to employ distinct keywords for marketing and transactional purposes when guests opt in or out, to avoid confusion and ensure seamless communication.
Ensure that the keywords are configured on the same level as the mobile number. For example, if the mobile number is configured at the center level, then the keywords must be configured at the center level too.
If keywords and numbers are configured at both levels, then the center setting will take precedence.
