Aveda Plus Rewards Integrated with Zenoti
Aveda Plus Rewards is a loyalty program for guests at participating Aveda salons. This article helps admins and front desk operators set up the integration, link or enroll guests, and manage points accrual and redemption.

Overview
The Aveda Plus Rewards loyalty program allows guests earn points whenever they purchase Aveda products — in-store, online, or directly from salons. These points can be redeemed for selecting Aveda products and salon services.
With seamless integration into Zenoti, salons can easily enroll guests, manage memberships, and apply rewards —all from a single platform. Guests can earn and redeem their Aveda Plus Rewards points effortlessly at the Point of Sale (POS).
Setting up of Aveda Plus Rewards in Zenoti
Setting up Aveda Plus Rewards in Zenoti is a simple and effective way to enhance your guest experience. By following a few configuration steps, you can activate the loyalty integration at both the organization and center levels, identify eligible products, and prepare your team to enroll new members or link existing guest accounts. This section provides clear instructions to help you complete the setup process, including how to:
Enable the integration at the organization level
Enable the integration at the center level
Mark products as eligible Aveda items
Link existing Aveda Plus memberships or enroll new guests who are not yet members
Once these steps are completed, your salon will be fully equipped to offer seamless loyalty experiences directly through Zenoti.
Enable Integration at the Organization Level
To begin, activate the Aveda Plus Rewards integration at the organization level:
At the organization level, click Configurations.
Navigate to the Loyalty Program section.
Switch on the toggle for Enable Aveda Plus Loyalty Integration.
Click Save.
Enable Integration at the Center Level
After enabling the integration at the organization level, you must activate it at each center:
At the center level, Configurations.
Navigate to Integrations > Integration settings.
From the Integrations section, select LP Integration.
Expand LP Integration > Configuration.
Switch on the Active toggle.
Enter the location ID/SAP ID provided by Aveda.
Click Verify to validate the location ID.
After the validation is done, click Verify & Save.

If you are unable to find this setting, contact your Zenoti representative.
Mark Products as Aveda Products
To ensure guests can earn and redeem points on specific products, flag those products as Aveda items:
At the organization level, go to Master Data from the left panel.
Click Products.
On the Manage Products screen, select the product you want to update.
In the General tab, select the This is an Aveda Product checkbox.
Enter the UPC (Universal Product Code).
Scroll to the bottom and click Save.
Once your products are marked as Aveda products, you are ready to link guests to the Aveda Plus Rewards program. This allows guests to start earning and redeeming points on qualifying purchases right away.
Link Existing Aveda Plus Memberships
Roles: Admin and Front Desk Operators
If a guest already has an active Aveda Plus Rewards membership, you can link it to their profile in Zenoti. This ensures their points are tracked correctly and that they continue to earn and redeem rewards without interruption. You can link a guest’s membership using either of the following methods:
Method 1: Linking through POS
1. On the POS screen, click the Link with Aveda button.

2. In the pop-up, enter your Aveda Plus membership ID or your registered email address.

3. Click Link now.
Method 2: Link From Guest Profile
1. At the center level, navigate to Guests on the left panel.
2. Click Manage Guests.
3. Select the guest whose Aveda Plus Rewards membership is to be linked.
4. On the general tab, click the link icon next to the Aveda Membership ID.

5. In the pop-up, enter your Aveda Plus membership ID or your registered email address.
6. Click Link now.
Note: If two guest profiles are merged and at least one has an active Aveda membership, the resulting profile will retain an Aveda membership. If both profiles have Aveda memberships, one ID will be randomly selected and assigned to the merged profile.
Enroll Guests Without an Aveda Membership
If a guest is not yet a member of the Aveda Plus Rewards program, you can easily enroll them at POS.
On the POS screen, click the Link with Aveda button.
In the pop-up, click Sign up for a new membership.
In the sign-up form, enter the guest’s first name, last name, phone number, date of birth (optional), and email address.
Enter the street address, apartment/suite (if applicable), and any additional address information.
Select the preferred language from the dropdown.
Enter the city, state, postal code, and country code.
Choose the guest’s communication preferences.
Select the I accept the terms and conditions checkbox.
Click Sign up to complete the enrollment.
After enrolling, the guest's Aveda Plus Rewards membership will be linked to their guest profile on Zenoti. They can start earning points immediately on purchase of Aveda products.
Accrual and Redemption of Aveda Plus Rewards Points
After a guest is enrolled to the Aveda Plus Rewards program, they can start earning and redeeming points on eligible purchases. You can easily view a guest’s available Aveda Plus Rewards points directly on the Point of Sale:
Search for the guest on the POS screen.
Hover over the Aveda Plus Rewards icon to view their current points balance.
Alternatively, you can go to Payments > Loyalty > Aveda Plus Rewards to check available points.
The accrual process begins when Aveda products are added to the invoice. Points apply only to Aveda products that are marked using the This is an Aveda product checkbox and have a valid UPC.
Accruing Points
Guests earn points automatically when a qualifying invoice is closed. Here’s how it works:
Points are awarded only for Aveda products.
Points are calculated excluding any taxes or discounts.
Guests can use any payment method; the accrual is not affected by how the purchase is paid for.
Note
Accrual history across all Aveda touchpoints (online purchases or non-Zenoti salons) is not available in Zenoti. Guests can view their full accrual history on https://www.aveda.com/aveda-plus-rewards-program
Bonus Points
If the guest has access to promotional or bonus point offers through their membership:
Up to four bonus offers can be applied at the time of purchase.
Select applicable offers from the Bonus Points dropdown on the POS screen.
The actual bonus point value is defined and communicated by Aveda directly to the guest.

Redeeming Points
Guests can use points accrued over multiple transactions to purchase Aveda products.
Partial redemptions are not allowed. The full product amount must be paid using points.
During redemption of Aveda Plus Rewards points, a custom Aveda payment method is automatically applied at checkout.
Note
Guests receive email confirmations from Aveda for all point accruals and redemptions, helping them stay updated on their rewards status.
Note
Aveda reimburses salons for product redemptions at cost price via an external process. For questions, salons must contact their Salon Development Professional (SDP).
Salon-Spa Certificate Redemption for Aveda Services
Zenoti also supports the redemption of Aveda salon-spa certificates for eligible services. This integration ensures a seamless experience for both staff and guests during checkout.
You can use only one certificate for each service quantity.
Aveda certificates are valid for one-time use only. Transactions cannot be reversed once the redemption is complete.
An Aveda icon is displayed next to eligible services on the invoice, similar to how it appears for Aveda products.
Redemption Flow
• Front desk staff can choose to apply the certificate manually.

After you select a certificate, click Redeem.
Certificates are automatically marked as redeemed after the transaction. This will be reflected in the Certificate redemption status window.
Click Apply to complete the process. This will be recorded as a custom transaction.
Dual Redemption Scenario
When both an eligible Aveda product and an eligible Aveda service are present on the same invoice:
The certificate will be applied to the service.
Reward points will be applied to the product.
Certificate Rules
Each certificate has a fixed dollar value (For example, $50, $75).
Partial redemptions are permitted if the certificate value is less than the service sale price. The balance amount must be paid using other payment methods. Only one certificate can be used per service. All relevant values are displayed in the Redemption Details section.
