Configure provider availability during processing time
Use this setting to allow service providers to be scheduled for new appointments while a current appointment is in its processing phase. This helps maximize productivity by letting providers serve other guests during idle time, without impacting the ongoing appointment. The setting applies across all booking channels, including the Booking Wizard, Webstore, CMA, and ZMA. This does not currently apply to bookings made from the bottom panel.
To enable this setting, follow these steps:
At the organization level, click Configuration.
Navigate to Appointment and Queue Management > Bookings > Service rules.
Switch on the Enable service providers to be booked for another appointment during processing segment of an ongoing appointment toggle.
Click Save.
