Edit check-in or checkout time to make it a break checkout

  1. At the center level, click the Employee icon.

  2. Go to Employees > Employees > Check In.

  3. Select the date from the calendar.

  4. Click Edit.

  5. In the Employee Attendance Details page, select the Employee (name), enter or edit Expected Check In, Expected Check Out, Check In Time, Check-Out Time,  and Comments, if any.

    Note

    • If the center level setting  Calculate Employee Payroll Hours/Employee Utilization based on Scheduled and Actual Hours Combination is on, the Expected Check-In and Expected Check-Out times are considered to calculate employee payroll hours.

    • Expected check in is the time the employee was expected to check-in based on the employee schedule. For example, the employee was expected to check-in at 8 am. In cases where the employee is not scheduled, the system takes this time as the scheduled check in time.

    • Expected check out is the time the employee was expected to check out based on the employee’s schedule. For example, the employee was expected to check out at 4 pm. In cases where the employee is not scheduled, the system takes this time as the scheduled check out time.

  6. Select the Consider this checkout for meal break checkbox.

  7. Click Add.

  8. Click OK.

    Note

When you checkout an employee for a break, you must enter the checkout time.
