Copy a Class Schedule

Businesses can copy an existing class schedule to a new date range without re-entering schedule details. The copy action carries forward every parameter from the source schedule. Only the start date and end date change.

The new schedule inherits all values from the source schedule. The list below covers the main parameters.

  • Recurrence pattern. This includes Daily, Weekly, or Monthly, and the repeat interval.

  • Start time and end time.

  • Class name, description, and HTML description.

  • Price and duration.

  • Instructor and instructor pay rate.

  • Room assignment.

  • Capacity, virtual links, Show in Catalog, and Free Session settings.

Prerequisites
  • The center must have at least one class to create a schedule.

  • Create at least one schedule for the class. The copy action needs a source schedule.

Duplicate a Schedule from the Class Schedule tab
  1. At the center level, navigate to Fitness > Classes.

  2. Select the required class from the list.

  3. Access the Schedule tab.

  4. Find the schedule to copy from the list of all available schedules for the selected class.

  5. Click the Copy Schedule icon for that row.

  6. In the Copy Schedule pop-up, set the Start date and End date

The new start date and end date replace the source dates. By default, both fields prefill to one day after the source schedule's end date. For example, a source schedule that ends on May 24, 2026, prefills the new start date and new end date to May 25, 2026. Adjust either date before duplicating the schedule.

  7. Click Copy Schedule. The schedule creation page opens with all source values prefilled and the new dates applied.

  8. Review the prefilled values. If a conflict banner shows that an instructor or room is not available on some dates, adjust the schedule or proceed as needed.

  9. Click Create Schedule to save the new schedule.

Copy a schedule from the Active Sessions column

The Classes list shows an Active Sessions count for each class. The count opens the Upcoming Schedules dialog, which lists in-progress schedules with their end dates.

  1. At the center level, navigate to Fitness > Classes.

  2. Find the required class from the list using the class keyword or available filters.

  3. Click the number in the Active Sessions column for the class.

  4. Review the schedules on the Upcoming Schedules pop-up. Each row shows occurrence, start date, end date, instructor, timing, and total sessions.

  5. Click Copy Schedule in the Copy column for the schedule to create a duplicate.

  6. In the Copy Schedule pop-up, set the Start date and End date.

  7. Click Copy Schedule. The schedule creation page opens with all source values prefilled and the new dates applied.

  8. Review the prefilled values, then click Create Schedule to save the new schedule.

Verify the copied schedule
  1. Access the Schedule tab for the required class.

  2. Find the new schedule by its start date from the list of available schedules.

  3. Confirm the recurrence, time, instructor, room, and date range match the intended values.

Considerations
  • Manual translations added through the Add Translations screen do not carry over to a copied schedule. Re-enter translated text on the new schedule if the class shows on a translated webstore.

  • The Schedules page lists each schedule with its occurrence, start time, scheduled till date, sessions, instructor, room, and status. Use the Status column to find upcoming schedules, in progress, or about to expire.
