Create an Amenity category
Amenity categories organize related amenities under a common label, which simplifies scheduling, improves reporting, and makes the amenity catalog easier to browse. For example, you can create a Tennis Courts category and assign both clay and grass courts to it.
The Amenity Categories listing page shows all categories and their subcategories. Use the filter dropdown to view only categories set to Shown In Catalog, or select All Categories to see every category regardless of catalog visibility.
To create an amenity category:
At the center level, navigate to Configurations > Services.
Select Amenity Categories.
Click Add.
Enter a Category Code and a Category Name.
From Parent Category, select an existing category, or leave it as None to create a top-level category.
Enter a Description in plain text.
If the category should display formatted content on the Webstore, enter it in the HTML Description field.
Select Show in Digital Catalog to make the category visible in the online catalog.
Enter a Display Order number to control how the category appears in lists and dropdowns.
Choose an Appointment Color and an Appointment Text Color for how the category appears on the scheduler.
Click Save.
