Redesigned Appointment Book for ZMA v2 for tablets and phones

The redesigned Appointment Book in ZMA v2 offers an enhanced scheduling experience on tablets. It focuses on better usability, faster access, and a modern look tailored for front-desk efficiency.

Note

Businesses that have gone live on Zenoti on or after April 29, 2025, are defaulted to the redesigned Appointment Book.

For centers already using the Redesigned Appointment Book on the web, the mobile app will automatically adopt this new design once the app is updated, ensuring seamless alignment across devices. Centers still have the flexibility to manage this experience using the provided toggle.

Do not enable the redesigned Appointment Book for your organization if you use Classes or Workshops in the Appointment Book, as these features are currently not supported in the redesigned Appointment Book. Following are the key enhancements:

  • Modern design: View a clean interface with pastel or bold color themes and refreshed icons.

  • Quick guest search: Find profiles, appointments, and take actions right from the search results.

  • Smart zoom: Auto-adjust zoom based on provider count and appointment slot duration.

  • Responsive appointment cards: Adjust cards to screen size and zoom, preserving key details.

  • Filter and save views: Filter by status, forms, or provider, and save views for reuse.

  • Icons support: Choose up to four appointment icons and four guest icons to appear on the appointment card.

Configure layout and view options

Front desk staff can quickly identify appointments and navigate the calendar using preferred color and layout styles.

  1. Tap the palette icon at the top right of the screen.

  2. Choose an Appointment card theme: Pastel or Bold.

  3. Select a view: Vertical, Horizontal, or List layout.

  4. Click Done.

Access register and report options

Front desk staff can instantly access and act on register tasks like closing invoices, verifying invoices, and viewing reports.

  1. Tap the Category Grid icon next to the Filter/Sort button.

  2. Select anu of the available options:

    • Prepaid/GC Details

    • Close Register

    • Cash Drawer

    • Sales Report

    • Tips Report

  3. Review, take action, or download reports as needed.

  4. Tap outside the menu to return to the Appointment Book.

Customize the Filter/Sort panel

The Filter/Sort panel allows front-desk staff to customize how appointments and providers are displayed and filtered in the redesigned Appointment Book. It offers options to streamline scheduling and locate relevant information quickly.

  1. Select how you want providers to be sorted, such as by name, job type, or booking value.

  2. Click Re-order providers to arrange provider order.

  3. Choose appointment statuses to filter—New, Confirm, Check-in, or Closed.

  4. Filter therapists by name, tags, or job roles.

  5. Toggle Show only scheduled therapists or search for a specific provider.

  6. Select form types and turn on Show only unfilled forms, if needed.

  7. Switch on the Block-out time toggle if needed.

  8. Tap Apply or Reset to clear filters .

Benefit from Guest search enhancements

The guest search feature shows guest details, including phone numbers and the number of services for today's appointment. You can view search history (last five searches), book and modify appointments, check-in guests, and process payments directly from search results. Click a guest's name to open their profile.
