Set up a pole display
Note
Currently, Zenoti supports XP8200 U POS-X pole device on Google Chrome, Edge v103, and Opera v89.
If your center has enabled the pole display setting, the front-desk staff can see the pole display icon on the POS screen.
Connect the device to a USB port on the computer.
Click the pole display icon

On the dialog box, select the port.
Click Connect.
After the device gets connected, the color of the pole display icon changes to green .
Note
If the color of the icon remains red, select the correct port and connect the device.
View the device port
On your computer, at the bottom of the screen, search for device manager.
Select Ports.
Note down the port number to which the pole device is connected.
Customize the welcome message
On Appointment Book, click Help.
Click the Configuration Utility link.
Note
A zip file is downloaded to your computer.
Open the Downloads folder.
Open the zip file.
Double-click the setup file.
In the Line1 box, enter the message.
Click Download setting to.
Select the pole display device.
Disconnect the pole display
Click the green pole display icon.
FAQ
Do I need to connect the pole display device for every invoice?
No. If the browser where Zenoti is open gets closed, then you must reconnect the device.
Which pole display does Zenoti support?
Zenoti supports only XP8200 U POS-X pole device on Google Chrome, Edge v103, and Opera v89.
