Stylist Production Hours

Stylist (Production) Hours in ezPulse represent the total hours your stylists or service providers were checked in for production work tasks during the selected period.

This includes time that staff are available for delivering services, not administrative, training, or non-productive tasks. It’s an essential measure for productivity and efficiency analysis, forming the base for several per-hour performance metrics such as Net Service per Production Hour and Service Visits per Production Hour.

How Production Hours are recorded

  • If EnablePayrollPlans is enabled for your organization, and the Is Production Hour setting is turned on for a work task, then any hours logged under that task during clock-out will be recorded as production hours.

  • If a work task does not have Is Production Hour enabled, those hours will be categorized as non-production hours.

  • If EnablePayrollPlans is disabled for your organization, only the primary work task will be considered production hours; all others will be treated as non-production hours.

Example: If three stylists worked 8 hours each in production work during a day, the total Stylist (Production) Hours would be:

8 × 3 = 24 hours

This means your team collectively contributed 24 production hours during the day.

Note

In the Stylist (Production) Hours report, values are displayed in HH:MM format on the web (for example, 02:22 → 2 hours and 22 minutes).

However, due to a system limitation in ezPulse, the same value is shown in HH.MM format (for example, 02.22) within the ezPulse interface.
