Service Category Quantity Percentage
Service Category Quantity Percentage in ezPulse shows the proportion of total services delivered that come from each service category during the selected date range. It is calculated by dividing the quantity of services in a category by the total quantity of all services and expressing the result as a percentage
This metric helps teams understand the service mix by volume, independent of revenue. It highlights which service categories are most frequently delivered and helps identify shifts in guest preferences and demand patterns.
Example:
If a business delivers a total of 1,000 services during the reporting period, with:
450 Haircut services
350 Color services
200 Treatment services
Then:
Haircut Quantity % = (450 ÷ 1,000) × 100 = 45%
Color Quantity % = (350 ÷ 1,000) × 100 = 35%
Treatment Quantity % = (200 ÷ 1,000) × 100 = 20%
This means that 45% of all services delivered were haircuts, 35% were color services, and 20% were treatments during the selected period.
