Tips payout details report
This report was formerly known as MyZen Tips Payout report.
The Tips payout details report shows you all the payouts made to an employee's Zenoti Wallet. It also includes dates and timestamps of earnings, payouts, and debits depending on the custom view.
You can view the report only for those centers to which you have access.
Role permissions required to view this report
Required permissions: MyZen tips payout report
Click the Reports icon.
Search for Tips payout details report.
By default, the report is in the Payout view.
If you don't see the payout view, from the View type filter, select Payout view.
Under Payout type, by default, Tips payout is selected.
If you want to view the details of payouts made to the employees as scheduled in the form of tips, you can retain the default selection.
If you want to view the details of custom payouts made to the employees (bonuses, payroll adjustments, and travel expenses), from the Payout type list, select Custom payout.
Select other filters as required.
Click Refresh.
The following table describes the different payout statuses you may see in the Tips payout details report.
Status | Description |

Wallet not active | The employee's Zenoti wallet has not been created yet |
Processing | Payout is initiated and is yet to be paid out |
Paid out | Payout is settled |
Payout paused | Payouts have been stopped at the center due to ACH reversals This status appears when the accumulation of tips is turned off. This means that the business must pay these tips outside the system. |
Payout on hold | Payouts have been stopped at the center due to ACH reversals This status appears when accumulation of tips is on. The business doesn't have to pay any tips offline. Once the status resumes, all tips will be paid automatically by the system. |
Payouts stopped | Payout is disabled by the business |
Opted out | Display of payout statuses is explicitly disabled based on user request |
Failed | Payout fails |
Click the Reports icon.
Search for Tips payout details report.
To view the earnings of individual employees (in terms of tips and other payouts, apart from the scheduled payout) from the View Type filter, select Earnings View.
Click Refresh.
The following table describes the tips earned, paid, pending, and those to be paid by the employer for employees, including those who have been terminated.
Tips earned | The entire tips earned by the employees of the center |
Tips paid | The entire tips paid by the business to the employees |
Pending tips | Tip amounts that are scheduled for payment to employees in the coming payout. If tip accumulation is enabled and the employee's Zenoti wallet is not created, their accumulated tips will be shown here. If an employee is terminated and their wallet isn't created within 36 hours, they will be automatically opted out of the Tips payout program, and pending tips will be moved to Tips to be paid by employer. |
Tips to be paid by employer | Tip amounts that the business is expected to pay employees outside of Zenoti. If tip accumulation is not enabled, the tips earned by opted out employees or the ones whose wallets are not created will be shown here. If tip accumulation is enabled but an employee is terminated before their wallet is created, the tips will be moved from Pending Tips to Tips to be Paid by Employer for payment outside of Zenoti. |
