Configure clock-in requirement before service start

Zenoti has a center-level setting that ensures stylists can start a service only when clocked into a production task. If a stylist is clocked into a non-production task, the system shows an alert with their name and prompts them to switch. This helps centers maintain accurate service tracking.

  1. At the organization or center level, click Configuration.

  2. Navigate to Appointment and Queue Management > Bookings > Employee Rules.

  3. Switch on the Allow stylists to start a service only if they are clocked in to production work tasks toggle.

  4. Click Save.
