Actions on the roster view

The Roster view or page in Zenoti supports a variety of actions performed by different user roles, including instructors, front desk staff, and administrators.

Instructor actions
  • Manage student profiles: Create new student profiles, edit and delete registrations, and search for existing students.

  • Manage Attendance:

    • Check-in students.

    • Mark students as no-shows or canceled.

    • Undo check-ins.

  • Enroll Students: Add students to classes or waitlists.

  • Select Substitutes: Assign replacement instructors for sessions.

Front-desk actions
  • Process Payments:

    • Launch the POS to process memberships, packages, or drop-in payments.

    • Handle refunds for memberships, packages, or retail items.

    • Close payments for sessions.

  • Manage Registrations and Waitlists:

    • Add guests with guest passes.

    • Move students from waitlists to registered lists.

  • Enhance Guest Interactions:

    • Add personalized guest alerts.

    • Send emails to registered and signed-in students.

Manager and Administrator Actions
  • Configure Roster Settings: Enable options like visibility of canceled sessions.

  • Manage Canceled Classes: View and reschedule canceled sessions.

  • Define Policies: Configure no-show and cancellation rules for sessions.

Common Actions for All Roles
  • View Metrics: Analyze data such as registrations, attendance, waitlists, and open invoices.

  • Manage Class Schedules: Edit, reschedule, or cancel sessions.

  • Communicate with Students: Use email tools and view milestones for student progress.
