Create referral categories for guests

Guest referral categories in guest profiles are used to classify different ways that guests have been referred to your business. This information can be used to target marketing campaigns, identify effective referral sources, and reward loyal guests.

Required roles: Owner or Administrator

Required permissions: To make any changes to the referral categories, you must have add, edit, and delete permissions enabled for your role.

  1. At the organization level, click the Configurations icon.

  2. Search for and select the Referral categories setting from the Guests section.

  3. On the Referral categories page, click Add.

  4. On the General tab, enter basic details like the name and description of the referral category. Select Active to make it available for your organization and click Next.

  5. On the Centers tab, select the centers in your organization where this category can be applied.

  6. Click Save.

Front desk staff or center managers can select the referal category for the guest in the Referral field while creating a guest profile.
