View your performance metrics
This article explains how service providers can use MyZen to monitor their performance metrics and track commissionable earnings directly from the Performance tab.
Overview
Service providers use the Performance tab in MyZen to view a comprehensive summary of their work performance and earnings. Metrics include guest visit data, sales information, rebooking rates, feedback, and commissionable revenue. This helps service providers evaluate how they are progressing toward their goals across the day, week, or pay period.
MyZen also shows service revenue, which represents the actual earnings that are eligible for commission—offering a clear and accurate view of performance.
Prerequisites
To view performance metrics in MyZen:
The service provider must have access to the MyZen app.
The organization must enable the desired metrics from the configuration settings. To learn how to configure it, refer to the Configure performance metrics on MyZen article.
To view performance metrics in MyZen:
Open MyZen and go to the Performance page.
Use the filter options to view performance by day, week-to-date, month, or a custom date range.
Select a data basis at the top of the Performance section:
Select Sale Date (Sales) to view existing metrics based on sale date, including both open and closed invoices. This is the default view.
Select Close Date (Revenue) to view revenue-based metrics calculated from closed invoices only, aligned with the Employee KPI report.
Review your metrics across the Overview, Trends, and Leaderboard sections — all sections reflect the selected data basis.
Metrics available in sale date view:
Product/Service %
Repeat guests retained
New guests retained
Requested count
Service sales
Guest count
Average feedback
Average invoice value
Service revenue
Other KPIs derived from Employee KPI report
Metrics available in close date view
Service Revenue: Total service revenue after your organization's deduction settings are applied (for example, a $100 service with a $20 shop cost deduction shows $80 in Service Revenue).
Free Service Revenue: Revenue attributed to free or complimentary services you performed.
Product Revenue: Total product revenue after deduction settings are applied.
Membership Revenue: Total membership revenue after deduction settings are applied.
Package Revenue: Total package revenue after deduction settings are applied.
Considerations
Sale Date (Sales) is the default view. Your data basis selection persists until you log out; after logging out, the view resets to Sale Date (Sales).
In Close Date (Revenue) mode, only closed invoices are included. Revenue values reflect your organization's deduction settings.
Some metrics are not compatible with Close Date (Revenue) mode. If you encounter such a metric, MyZen prompts you to switch to Sale Date (Sales) to view it.
If metrics are not selected, the MyZen app omits the Performance section, making the interface easier for providers.
