How do product kits (bundles) affect stock levels?
Product kits (bundles) are composite products that contain multiple component products. When you bundle or unbundle:
Bundle (assemble) — The system deducts the component product quantities from stock and adds the bundle product quantity. For example, bundling 1 "Gift Set" deducts 1 Shampoo, 1 Conditioner, and 1 Serum from stock, and adds 1 Gift Set.
Unbundle (disassemble) — The reverse. The system deducts the bundle product quantity and adds the component quantities back to stock.
The system validates that sufficient component stock exists before allowing a bundle operation. If any component has insufficient stock, the bundle operation is blocked.
