To enhance efficiency at the front desk, Zenoti Web and Zenoti Mobile offer employees a PIN login option for faster access. This PIN login mode can now be automatically disabled when employees switch from the Appointment book or Queue to Admin mode.

PIN mode rules will no longer apply to all the tabs when the employee explicitly navigates to Admin mode. When multiple tabs are open, selecting the Manage Mode icon from the appointment book or queue view disables the PIN mode across all tabs. However, if the browser or tab is closed without selecting the Manage mode, the PIN mode applies to the remaining tabs. This feature reduces time and simplifies front desk operations by allowing employees to switch to Admin mode without PIN lockout, enhancing efficiency during peak hours.

To enable the feature,

  1. At the center level, navigate to Configuration.

  2. In the search box, type Exit PIN mode when employee exits appointment book.

  3. Select the option from the search result.

  4. Toggle on the setting. By default, the toggle for the setting is off.

  • Front-desk staff now have the option to enable automatic cash register closure. If a staff member forgets to close the register manually, Zenoti closes it automatically, helping to prevent financial discrepancies. This ensures all transactions are accounted for, simplifying end-of-day reconciliation.

    This setting is disabled by default and must be enabled by businesses.

    To enable the feature,

    1. At the center level, navigate to Configuration.

    2. In the search box, type Enable automatic register closure.

    3. Select the option from the search result.

    4. Toggle on the setting. By default, the toggle for the setting is off.

    The Register closure report includes a Closed by column that indicates whether the register was closed automatically or manually. Collections recorded during an automatic closure updates the actual amount matching the expected collections. The automatic closure typically occurs between 11:00 PM and 11:59 PM at the end of the business day, aligned with the center’s time zone. More information

  • A new icon has been introduced on the refund screen to show details about loyalty points. This icon specifically indicates how pre-tax loyalty points are applied to each item, helping front desk staff and guests understand how points are distributed in refunds. On the refund screen, redemption details are displayed next to the final price. It also clarifies what can or cannot be refunded based on the type of redemption used. More information

    Supported redemption types include:

    1. Loyalty point (pre-tax)

    2. Gift card with tax

    3. Membership amount redemption (sold with tax)

    4. Coupon redemptions

The Business Unit, Item Category, and Item Sub-Category filters are now available in the Sales Accrual and Sales Cash reports. These enable businesses to analyze sales and collections by business unit, category, and sub-category. 

Center managers can now group the Item Sub-Category column with other columns in the Sales Accrual and Sales Cash reports for improved data organization. Similarly, the Liability Center column in the Collections report can also be grouped with other columns. With liability center grouping, businesses can track cross-center redemptions within their center. These enhancements make data easier to access and improve reporting efficiency. Center managers can filter and group information based on important parameters.

These features are enabled by default for all customers. To view these filters, go to Reports, then search for and open either the Sales Accrual or Sales Cash report.
