All receipts, by default, show the tax group that is applied to the item along with the tax percentage such as GST 5%. You can, however, choose to also include a breakdown of the tax components applied on each item in the invoice.

To include the tax components in receipts

  1. Ensure that you are at the center level.

  2. Navigate to Admin > Organization > Centers > Center name.
    The Edit Center page opens.

  3. Click the Settings tab and expand the Invoice & Receipt section.

  4.   Select the Show tax components checkbox.

   5. Click Save.
       Subsequent receipts will display the tax components for each item.

For example, in the following image, CGST and SGST are the two tax components applied to the GST tax group. The receipt displays the amount deducted towards each of these components for the service and the product.
