By default, you can assign an employee a leave status of Leave, Special Leave or Weekly Off. If you require additional leave types, such as Sick Leave or Maternity Leave, you need to add these into Zenoti.

To add a new leave type:

  1. Ensure that you are in the Organization view.

  2. On the main menu, click Employee.

  3. On the Employee Dashboard, click Settings > Leave Types.

  4. On the Manage Leave Types window, click Add.

  5. Add a name and the description for the leave type.

  6. Click Save
