At times, the biometric device, which you use for the Check ins and check outs of your employees, is not recognized, due to the Java plugin being disabled.
To address this issue, follow these steps:
In the Firefox browser go to Tools > Add-ons > Plugins. A list of all the plugins installed is displayed.
In the list the Java (TM) Platform SE Plugin is disabled. Click the Enable button and refresh the checkin window for the biometric device to be recognized.
