You can view the details of all the gift cards that the guest purchased for herself and received from others, gift cards the guest redeemed, and actions taken on a gift card. You can also edit the expiration date and balance of a gift card.

View gift cards that a guest purchased or received

  1. On the guest profile, tap Gift Cards.

  2. To view a list of gift cards the guest purchased, see the Purchased History section.

  3. To view a list of gift cards the guest received, see the Received History section.

Change the expiration date of a gift card

  1. On the guest profile, tap Gift Cards.

  2. In the Purchase History section or in the Received History section, from the Expiration column, tap the pencil icon.

  3. From the calendar, pick a new date.

  4. Tap Update.

Change the gift card balance

  1. On the guest profile, click Gift Cards.

  2. In the Purchase History section, tap in the Balance column.

  3. Enter the new balance and add comments

    If the existing balance is $10 and you want to add $20 to it, update balance from $10 to $30.

  4. Tap Update.

Perform these steps

View redemption history of a gift card

  1. On the guest profile, tap Gift Cards.

  2. Tap the three dots and select Redemption History.

View invoice of a gift card

  1. On the guest profile, tap Gift Cards.

  2. Tap the three dots of the gift card and select View Invoice.

Refund a gift card

If you do not see the Refund option, reach out to your manager.

  1. On the guest profile, tap Gift Cards.

  2. Identify the card you wish to refund.

  3. Tap the three dots and select Refund.

  4. Select the gift card and enter the refund amount.

  5. Tap Next.

  6. Select the payment type and enter the refund amount; you can split the amount among different payment methods such as cash, check, or custom.

  7. Tap Refund.

  8. Tap Process Refund & Close Invoice.

View gift card logs

  1. On the guest profile, tap Gift Cards.

  2. Tap the three dots and select View logs.

View items in a gift card

To view the services or day package added in the gift card.

  1. On the guest profile, tap Gift Cards.

  2. Tap the three dots and select Items in card.

    You can see this option only for gift cards with services or day packages.

View the recipient of a gift card

  1. On the guest profile, click the Gift Cards tab.

  2. To see the recipient's name, in the Purchase History section, tap the gift card.

    If the gift card is for another guest, you can see the recipient's name. Otherwise, this field is blank.

Resend gift card email

  1. On the guest profile, tap Gift Cards.

  2. Identify the gift card you wish to resend.

  3. Tap the three dots and select Resend gift card.

  4. Tap Send gift card.

Check whether the card is a service or an amount gift card

  1. On the guest profile, tap Gift Cards.

  2. In the Purchase History or the Received History section, tap a record. You can see the type of the card.

Check who gifted a card

  1. On the guest profile, tap Gift Cards.

  2. In the Received History section, tap a record. You can see the person who gifted the card.
