Set aside time for your service providers to prepare for the day after clocking in. Service providers can use this time to set up their workspace before attending to their first guest.

Services cannot be assigned to providers during the preparation time. However, a service provider can still start a service in the queue at any time. You can configure the preparation time for service providers at the organization and center levels.

Configure preparation time at the organization level:

  1. Click the Admin icon and go to Organization > Organizations.

  2. Go to the Settings tab and expand Queue/Guest Kiosk.

  3. From the When employee starts work, give employee this many minutes of time to set up list, select the preparation time for service providers.

  4. Click Save.

Configure preparation time at the center level:

  1. Click the Admin icon and go to Organization > Centers.

  2. Go to the Settings tab and expand Guest Kiosk.

  3. Configure the When employee starts work, give employee this many minutes of time to set up setting.

    You can override the organization default and configure the preparation time for your center.

  4. Click Save.
