You can allow your employees to edit their own and others’ schedules for the day. To enable this feature for your organization:

  1. At the organization level, click the Admin icon and navigate to Organization > Organizations.

  2. Click the Settings tab and expand Employee.

  3. Next to Enable employee schedule editing in appointment book, select the Enabled option.

  4. Click Save.

Only employees with the required role permissions can edit employee schedules.

Set up role permissions for editing employee schedules:

  1. At the organization level, click the Admin icon and navigate to Organization > Security Roles.

  2. Select the employee role.

  3. Click the Permissions tab and expand Employee Manager.

  4. Next to Front Desk Work Scheduling – Days, choose the desired option:

    • Current Day Only - Allow employees to edit only the current day’s schedule

    • Not Limited To Current Day - Allow employees to edit schedules beyond the current day

  5. Next to Front Desk Work Scheduling – Employees, choose the desired option:

    • Individual Employee Only - Allow the employee to edit only their own schedule

    • Any Employee - Allow the employee to edit other employees’ schedules

    • No One - Restrict the employee from editing schedules

  6. Click Save.

Enable employees to edit schedules at the center level:

Your centers can use this feature irrespective of the organization-level settings. To configure this setting at the center level:

  1. Click the Admin icon and navigate to Organization > Centers.

  2. Click the Settings tab and expand Employee.

  3. Next to Enable employee schedule editing in appointment book, select the desired option.

  4. Click Save.
