One-time offers are tools to grow your business. By offering packages and memberships at a discounted price for one time per customer, you can use them as special promotions to draw new guests or existing guests.

To use one-time offers, your administrator must enable it at the organizational level.

After enabling one-time offers, you can create one-time offers for both packages and memberships.

Types of one-time offers

You can create two types of one-time offers:

  • For new guests only

    • When you configure a one-time offer For new guest only, only a guest who has not attended a class with the organization before or has not purchased an item (product, packages, gift cards, memberships) can buy this offer.

    • Note

You cannot sell a For new guests only one-time offer to an existing guest. An existing guest is any guest who has a closed invoice in the guest profile or has a package or membership added to their profile, even if the invoice is not closed.

  • For new and existing guests.

    • You cannot sell a For new and existing guests one-time offer to a guest who has already bought the offer earlier.

Key points to consider

For the business

  • When a guest has two profiles in Zenoti, and both have bought the same one-time offer, when you merge the accounts, the guest can use only one of the one-time offers.

  • After configuring a membership or package as a one-time offer, you can sell it only once to an individual guest.

  • You can create one-time offer for recurring and non-recurring types of memberships.

  • You can create one-time package offers for series packages only. You cannot create it for custom, day, or offer packages.

  • You can only disable a one-time offer until it is sold to the first guest.

  • You can renew a one-time offer package only to a membership or package that is not a one-time offer.

  • If the Transfer Service Credits setting is enabled, you can transfer service credits of the one-time offer.

  • You can change a For new guest only one-time offer to a For new and existing guest s one-time offer until it is sold to the first guest.

  • If the organization has chosen to enable the redemption on open memberships, guests can redeem the one-time offer credits on that open invoice itself.

  • You cannot edit an existing membership or package to make it a one-time offer. An existing membership or package is any membership or package that has been sold to at least one guest.

  • You cannot turn off the one-time offer setting even if the membership or package expires or is deleted.

  • If an invoice with a one-time offer exists, the guest cannot purchase the same one-time offer through another invoice.

  • When a guest has two profiles in Zenoti, and both have bought the same one-time offer, when you merge the accounts, the guest can use only one of the one-time offers.

For guests

  • Guests can purchase a one-time offer through Webstore, CMA, or through the point of sale.

  • Only new guests can purchase a For new guests only one-time offer. A new guest is a guest who has neither attended any class nor purchased an item such as a membership or package from the business.

  • New and existing guests can purchase a one-time offer if the organization has enabled the For new and existing guests option.

  • A guest can ONLY purchase each one-time offer once. If required, they can purchase different one-time offers.

  • An individual guest can only make an online purchase for one-time offers for which they are eligible.
