The front-desk staff can manually remove loyalty points from the guest profile. There are three different ways to remove loyalty points for the following scenarios:
Points with no expiry
Points with expiry
Points with combinational expiry
Before you begin:
At the organization level, click the Admin icon and navigate to Organization > Security Roles > Permissions > Guest Manager > Enable Add Loyalty Points.

1. Go to the guest's profile.
2. Navigate to the Points tab.
3. Click Add/Remove Loyalty Points.

The Add/Remove Loyalty Points window opens.
4. From the No. of points drop-down list, select Remove and enter the number of loyalty points to reduce.
5. Select an Expiry Date depending on the following scenarios:
Scenario | Method |
Points with no expiry | To remove points with no expiry, do not select an expiry date and continue with the next steps. |
Points with expiry | To remove points with expiry, select an expiry date and continue with the next steps. |
Points with combinational expiry | To remove multiple points with combinational expiry dates, then you can, remove points with expiry first and then remove points with no expiry. |
Note: If the criteria to remove loyalty points (as shown in the table above) does not match then the following alert shows up:
6. Select Reason, add a Comment, and click OK.
