As per your business requirements, you may need to change the benefits of an existing package. This is possible only if versioning is enabled for your organization.

When a package is modified, a new version is created if versioning is enabled for your organization. This new version of the package is then sold to guests. Benefits that guests get from the original package and the newer version may differ.

For example, John buys a package that includes two products, hair shampoo and hair gel. Now, the business owner adds body massage oil to the package.

Another guest, Mike, now buys the same package. Note that Mike has bought a new version of the package. As a result, Mike gets hair shampoo, hair gel, and body massage oil as part of the package.

Important: If your business went live after June 2020, package versioning is turned off by default. Contact Zenoti Support to turn it on.

If your business was live before June 2020, versioning is turned on by default.

If your business was live before June 2020 and you make changes to the following fields, a new version of the package is created. If versioning is turned off for your organization, you cannot edit these fields as they affect versioning.
