In busy locations, multiple employees may handle front desk operations simultaneously and may have to log in and log off frequently. To make it faster for such employees, it makes better sense for them to log in using a PIN number rather than remember a username and a password.

In this article, you will learn how to configure the enable PIN login feature for a center.

To enable PIN login at the center level

1. At the center level, go to Admin > Organization > Centers.
The Manage Centers page opens.

2. Go to the Settings tab.

3. Expand the Appointment Book section.

4. Select the Enable PIN login setting.
5. From the PIN automatic log out time drop-down list, choose the duration you want to set for an automatic log out.

Example: The PIN automatic log out time is set to 30 seconds.

Amy Brown, an employee of a center has logged in to Zenoti. After 30 seconds, Amy will be automatically logged out and will have to log back in using the PIN she got in her email (configured in her employee profile).

6. To generate and email PINs to all center employees, click Generate and Email PINs.

A pop-up message opens asking you to confirm if you want to generate and email PINs to each employee of the center.

7. Click OK
Another pop-up message appears confirming that notifications are scheduled and will be sent out shortly.

Important: PINs are auto-generated for the first time when an administrator or an owner enables PIN login at a center level. That is, when the owner selects the Enable PIN login check box (see Step 4) and saves the settings, Zenoti sends PINs by email to all employees in the center.

Thereafter, administrators or owners can generate PINs for all employees for the center (see Step 6), for specific employees (from the employee profile page), or employees can generate PINs for themselves from their Preferences.

Caution: If the center does not have enough email credits to send notifications to all the center employees, the PIN generation and subsequent notification process will fail.

5. Click Save.

You've successfully enabled PIN login for a center.
