Zenoti allows customers to set up various types of loyalty points, one of these being points for referring new customers. There are instances when a business with a referral program would prefer not to release loyalty points to an existing guest referring a new guest. This scenario arises when a business has both the referral program and accrued loyalty points for referring a new guest enabled at the organization level.

In such cases, businesses can opt to disable the accrued loyalty points setting for referring a new guest at the organization level.

To disable the loyalty points setting for referring a new guest

  1. At the organization level, go to Admin > Organization > Organizations.
    The Edit Organization page opens.

  2. Go to the Points tab.

  3. Ensure that a type of loyalty program is selected.

  4. Go to the Accrual Settings section.

  5. Locate and unselect the Referring a new guest setting.

  6. Click Save.

You have successfully disabled accrued loyalty points for referring a new guest.
