To enter general details for the workshop
Navigate to Fitness > Resources > Workshops.
Click the workshop for editing.
The General tab opens.
Enter the following details:
Workshop name: Enter the name of the workshop.
Example: Power Yoga Teacher Training
Workshop code: Enter a unique code that identifies the workshop.
Description: Describe the workshop to tell your guests the purpose of the workshop.
Html description: Enter a description of the workshop that you want to display on your Webstore.
To preview the description, click Preview.
Business unit: Select the business unit to which this workshop must belong. The options that you see in this list are predefined by your admin.
Category: Select the desired category. The options that you see in this list are predefined by your admin.
For example, if your business offers yoga workshops, you can have Yoga as the main category.
Sub Category: Select the subcategory within the main category. Each main category can have multiple sub-categories.
For example, in the Yoga category, we can have a subcategory as Yoga for Beginners.
Level: Select the difficulty aspect of the workshop.
Recommendation: Include the level details in the workshop name. This will help the guests to book their workshop accordingly.
Cost to center: Enter the expenses that your business can incur for this workshop.
Registration Lockdown Window: To avoid any last-minute registrations from students, enter the number of hours before the workshop starts, during which the students are not allowed to make any registrations. For example, if a workshop starts at 10:00 am and if you do not any registrations two hours before the workshop starts, enter 2 in this box That way, the students will be allowed to register only till 8:00 am. However, the front-desk staff can still make any last-minute registrations from the appointment book.
Auto-Confirmation Lock Window: Enter the number of hours, before the workshop starts, to allow moving the guests from the waitlist to the registered list automatically. This saves the front-desk staff’s time.
Start date: Select the date from which you want to conduct the workshop.
End date: Select the date on which you want to end the workshop.
Capacity: The number of students that your studio can physically accommodate in the workshop. This is not required for online or on-demand workshops.
Instructor pay rate: Select the way you want to pay the instructors or trainers. The options you see in this list are predefined by your admin.
Waitlist lock minutes: Enter the number of minutes, before the workshop starts, to restrict the front-desk staff from adding guests to the waitlist.
Allow cancellation fee: Select this option if you want to charge a fee if the guest cancels this workshop.
Allow no show fee: Select this option if you want to charge a fee if the guest does not attend the workshop.
Sell as part of a package or membership: Select this option if you want to allow guests to register for this workshop only if they have a membership or package to which the workshop belongs.
Note: In the case of webstore and mobile app, if a guest does not have a membership or package and the guest is registering for the workshop, the guest is required to first buy a membership or package and then register for the workshop.
Virtual Class: Select this checkbox to auto-generate a zoom link when a schedule is created.
Registration notes: Enter the notes for this workshop. These notes will appear on the appointment book on the Instructor app as a description.
4. Click the Events tab or click Next.
5. If you want to save the general details of the workshop that you have entered and continue entering other details later, click Finish.
