When you create a target segment and check for guest count, you can view the break-up of number of guests eligible for marketing emails and text messages:

  • Total number of guests in the segment

  • Total number of guests who are eligible for marketing emails

  • Total number of guests who are eligible for marketing texts

Criteria based on which a guest is counted as eligible for email/text messages

  • For Emails
    - The email address is added to the guest profile.
    - The email address is valid.
    - The ReceiveMarketing Email option is selected on the guest profile.
    - The guest has not moved earlier emails from your business to spam or junk folder.

  • For SMS
    - The country selected for the guest's mobile number and the country selected for the guest's address is the same and not blank.
    - The mobile number is not empty and valid (length is as per the country selected).
    - The ReceiveSMSMarketing option is selected on the guest profile.
