Zenoti has improved the performance of the Appointment Book. For example, you will notice that the performance of the calendar is better now. We've also brought in some minor changes to the Appointment Book, see the following table for details.

Change of Functionality

Description

Left-click mouse functionality disabled on appointment book for desktop

You can no longer access the context menu via left-click. It has been disabled to be utilized for other features.

Instead, you can use right-click to access all the menu options on appointment book.

Before this change, we could access the context menu with both left and right-click. However, going forward, we will only support right-click mouse functionality.

Simple touch functionality disabled on appointment book for touch screen devices

You can no longer access the context menu on touch screen devices using a simple press. Instead, you can use the long-press functionality to open all menu options.

To use the long-press action to access menu options

1. Tap and press on any appointment block for a second.

2. The context menu opens.
3. You can now proceed to select any of the menu options as required.

Before this change, we could access the context menu on touch screen devices using both simple press and long press.

This change has been made to utilize the simple press for other features on touch screen devices; for example, a simple press can be used to access the tooltip for an appointment.

You can print appointment details only in horizontal view

With a right-click menu, you will not be able to print in vertical view on the appointment book. You will have to switch to the horizontal view to print.

When you click Print from the context menu in the vertical view, the following pop-up message appears:

"You cannot print in vertical view. We will briefly take you to the horizontal view so that you can print the required appointment details and then bring you back to the vertical view. Do you want to continue?”

Right-click menu will not work on Mac if the secondary click is not configured

You must configure the secondary click for the trackpad on MacBook for the right-click functionality to work on appointment book.
