You can configure Zenoti to send email and text notifications to guests for various membership events such as when a membership is cancelled, when an add-on member has been added, and more. You can also send emails and notifications to inform the guest about their membership balance or before their membership is set to expire.

To configure notifications for memberships

1. At the organization level, from the Admin tab, click Organizations.
The Edit Organization page appears.

2. Go to the Email/Texts tab.

3. Under the Memberships and Packages section, for the item for which you want to change the notification setting, click Edit.
The edit notification page appears.

4. To send an email notification, in the Email section, select the Turn this automated email on checkbox.
To send a text notification, in the Text Messages (SMS) section, select the Turn this automated email on checkbox.

5. Click Save.

You can also edit the contents of the email and text message. To do this, click the corresponding Edit link for the message.

Available Notifications

Gift Credit on Membership Cancellation

To notify guests that gift credits have been generated. It is sent after a guest's membership is cancelled.

This requires the Email/Text guest on Membership expiry setting to be enabled in the organization settings.

Member Add-On Alert

To alert the primary member when an add-on member is added. Turn this on to minimize unauthorized membership changes.

Member Add-On Removal

To alert the primary member when an add-on member is removed. Turn this on to minimize unauthorized membership changes.

Membership Balance

To inform a primary member when membership credit is used to pay for services. It is sent when a membership credit is used to pay for services.

Note: This message only goes out when a credit is used. It does not send out a message unless credits are used.

Membership Expiry Reminder

To remind the primary member of impending expiry.

This requires the Email/Text guest on Membership expiry setting to be enabled in the organization settings. The timing of when the email is sent depends on the Send Email/Text setting in the organization settings.

Membership Renewal Thankyou Notification

To thank the primary member when their membership is auto renewed and invoice is closed.

Membership Terms & Conditions

To complete membership enrolment process. It is sent to guests after the payment is made. It includes a hyperlink that the guests can click to complete the enrolment.

Recurring Collection Failed

To alert the guest of monthly or quarterly membership payment collection failure. Use this to ensure guests make payment to continue to avail membership benefits.

Note: This notification is only sent for card payments. It does not trigger for cash payments.

Recurring Collection Success

To confirm monthly or quarterly membership payment collection. It is sent after every successful collection of recurring payment. Use this to ensure guests are aware of the charges for which they are billed.

Recurring Payment Cancelled

To inform guests of cancellation of membership and stoppage of monthly or quarterly membership payment collection. It is sent after a guest's membership is cancelled.
