Zenoti’s new Point of Sale (POS) on Zenoti Mobile comes with a new compact design, clean layouts, a new palette of colors, and navigation options. It is designed to make the payment process quick and seamless for your business.

Point of Sale

The latest Point of Sale (POS) search page includes two separate panels:

1. Create New Invoice
a. Existing Guest
b. New Guest

2. Open Existing Invoices
a. Today’s Invoices
b. All Invoices

1. Create New Invoice

This section allows you to create a new invoice for an existing guest or add a new guest.

a. Existing Guest

The Existing Guest option allows you to create a new invoice for an existing guest by searching for the guest using their name, phone number, or email address. See the screenshot below.

b. New Guest

The New Guest option allows you to add details about a new incoming guest. First Name, Last Name are mandatory fields that need to be filled out to create a new guest for the business. See screenshot below. All the other fields can be made mandatory based on the needs of your organization.

2. Open Existing Invoice

This section allows you to search for the day’s existing invoices or all the invoices.

a. Today’s Invoices

This option allows you to search for the day’s invoices in the search bar using the invoice number, guest’s name, or phone number.

The search will show you the invoice amount, due amount, and status of the invoice (if open, closed, canceled, or a no show).

The new search bar also comes with a new filtering option, which narrows down your invoice search by selecting the correct Status of the invoice and Source where the invoice was originally processed.

b. All Invoices
All Invoices option allows you to search for past, current, and future invoices using the invoice number or the invoice's date.

Take Payment

To complete payment and close an invoice, you will have to navigate through three different sections:

a. Add to Invoice

b. Add Discount

c. Take Payment

a. Add to Invoice

After you select an invoice and tap the continue button, you will be navigated to the Add to Invoice section. The section provides various options, which allows you to add a single, multiple, or a combination of products, services, packages, memberships, gift cards, and prepaid cards to the invoice.

The panel on the right gives you information about all the services and products added to the invoice, the price and quantity of each item, the Sale By detail, and the total sale amount.

You can enter notes for the invoice by tapping the plus sign on the top-right of the panel. To view a breakdown of the payment, tap open the panel above the total sale amount.

Select Continue to proceed to the Add Discount section.

b. Add Discount

This section allows you to apply any active membership benefits, package benefits, campaigns, and discounts (if applicable) to the invoice.

c. Take Payment

The enhanced Take Payment section allows you to select from various payment options (Card, Cash, Cheque, Custom, Prepaid/Gift Cards), add and split tips, apply loyalty points and active memberships.

Choose from one of the close invoice buttons to complete the payment process after collecting the total amount due against an invoice.
