Parent categories help group similar classes offered at your studios. For example, Yoga can be a parent category for your business. After you create a parent category, you can assign several sub-categories of classes under a parent category.
To create a class category
At the organization level, click the Fitness icon.
Navigate to Setup > Categories.
3. Click Add at the top-right corner of the page.
The Create New Category page appears.
4. Enter the appropriate details in the fields by referring to the following field descriptions:
Category Code: A unique code that identifies the category for identification.
Category Name: Name of the category based on what it will cater to.
For example, Yoga can be the main category.
Parent Category: Since you are creating the parent category in this procedure, leave the None option unchanged.
Category Type: Type of business for which the category is being created. The option Yoga is selected by default.
Description: Enter a description for the category.
HTML Description: Enter a description for the category that will appear on the Webstore and CMA.
Display Order: The order in which this category appears on the Webstore and the Customer Mobile App (CMA).
Training Color: Click in the field and select the color which will appear in the Appointment Book for this class Text Color: Click in the field and select the color in which the text for this appointment category will appear in the Appointment Book.
5. Select the Show in digital catalog check box if you want the category to appear in the catalog on Webstore and CMA.
6. Click Save.
The category is created.
