At the center level, you can set when the push notification alerts must be sent to employees to remind them about their check-in and checkout times. Setting up these alerts help employees to check-in or checkout on time.
Before you Begin
- Make sure you have the push notification template configured for both employee check-in and checkout at the organization level (Admin > Organization > Organizations > Email/Texts tab > Employee section). - To receive alerts, the employee must ensure the push notification is set to Allow in the device for Zenoti Mobile application. To know more, read: Troubleshooting: Unable to Receive Push Notifications
To set alerts for check-in and checkout
1. At the center level, navigate to Admin > Center > Settings tab.
The Settings page appears.
2. Expand the Zenoti Mobile section.
3. To set the check-in notification, do the following:
a. Select the Enable Check-in Notification on Zenoti Mobile checkbox.
b. Select a time from the drop-down list.
c. Select before to send an alert to the employee before the scheduled check-in
time. For example, if you set the time as 10 and select before, the employee
receives a push notification alert ten mins before their check-in time.
4. To set the checkout alert, do the following:
a. Select the Enable Checkout Notification on Zenoti Mobile checkbox.
b. Select a time from the drop-down list.
c. Select after to send an alert to your employee after their scheduled check-out
time. For example, if you set the time as 10 and select before, the employee
receives a push notification alert ten mins after their checkout time.
5. Click Save.
The changes are saved for the center.
FAQ
1. If an employee forgot to check-in, will they still receive a checkout alert?
No. Unless an employee checks in, the checkout alert will not appear.
2. Will an employee who does not checkout receive the next alert?
No. If an employee forgot to checkout, then they do not receive alerts
for their next shift/day.
3. Will the employee who is not scheduled for a day still receive check-in and
checkout alerts on that day?
No. Zenoti does not send alerts to employees who are not scheduled for a day.
