Zenoti allows you to change the status of a booked appointment to start, complete, confirm, check-in, cancel, or no show as per the requirement.
To change the appointment status
1. Access Appointments from the Zenoti Mobile menu.
2. Tap the appointment for which you want to change the status in the Appointments
tab.
The appointment details screen appears and displays options to change the status
of the appointment.
3. Select one of the following status as per the requirement:
Depending on your selection, the color for the appointment changes accordingly.
- Confirm: If your guest confirms the appointment, tap Confirm.
The appointment status is changed to confirmed. - Check In: After your guest arrives to take the service, tap Check In.
The appointment status is changed to checked in. - Cancel: If your guest cancels the appointment, tap Cancel.
The Cancel Appointment screen opens where you must select a reason for cancellation, add comments, and finally tap Submit.
Note: The Reason field selects the first reason configured by default.
Note: You must be aware of the following:
- When you cancel an appointment, the appointment is removed from the
appointment book.
- If your organization enforces a cancellation fee, you must inform the guest that
cancellation charges may apply.
These charges must be enabled at the organization level for both Service
(Admin > Resources > Services > (Service Name) > Allow cancellation fee
checkbox) and the Appointment (Admin > Organization > Organizations >
Settings tab > Appointment Book > Appointment Cancellation Fee section >
Apply cancellation fee checkbox).
- No Show: If your guest has not shown up for a booked appointment, select No Show. The No Show Appointment screen opens where you must add comments and tap Submit.
Note: You must be aware of the following:
- When you select no show for an appointment, the appointment is removed from
the appointment book.
- If your organization enforces a no show fee, you must inform the guest that
no show charges may apply.
These charges must be enabled at the organization level for both Service
(Admin > Resources > Services > (Service Name) > Allow no show fee
checkbox) and the Appointment (Admin > Organization > Organizations >
Settings tab > Appointment Book > Appointment No Show Fee section >
Apply no show fee checkbox).
