While accepting payments using Mirror mode or from a desktop POS that has a Miura card reader connected, your screen might freeze and you will receive an Unknown Error message asking you to contact Support.

Desktop POS with Mirror Mode: Troubleshoot Unknown Error

If you receive the unknown error message or if the screen freezes while accepting payments using Mirror mode, check for the following:

1. In the Take Payment screen of the appointment, check if the Mirror is set to ON.

  • If the Mirror is set to ON, proceed to Step 2.
  • If the Mirror is set to OFF, set the Mirror to ON and proceed with taking the    payment. 

2. Check if the iPad is paired with your card reader.
    To do this, on your iPad, launch Zenoti Mobile POS and tap Settings and then tap
    Connected Card Readers.  
    You should see your card reader listed here. 

If your card reader is not listed, pair your iPad and your card reader and proceed with taking payments.

If the above steps do not work, contact Zenoti Support for assistance.

Desktop POS: Troubleshoot Unknown Error

If you receive the unknown error message or if the screen freezes while accepting payments from a desktop POS that has a Miura card reader connected, check for the following:

1. In the Take Payment screen of the appointment, check if the Mirror is set to OFF.

  • If the Mirror is set to OFF, proceed to Step 2.
  • If the Mirror is set to ON, set the Mirror to OFF and proceed with taking the payment.

2. Verify if you have completed all the steps required to set up and connect the  
    Miura card reader to your desktop POS.
