Learn how to Configure the Standard Prescription Email Template using the macros described below.

A macro is a placeholder text that gets replaced with specific data when inserted into an automated email notification.
Use the following macros to customize email messages to include information such as organization name, guest name, and prescription details. For example, the [OrgName] macro gets replaced with the organization name when the notification is sent.

  • [OrgName]: Name of the center’s organization.
  • [CenterName]: Name of the guest’s base center.
  • [FirstName]: First name of the guest.
  • [LastName]: Last name of the guest.
  • [CenterPhone]: Primary phone number of the guest's base center (corresponds to the Phone 1 field in the center settings).
  • [CenterPhone2]: Secondary phone number provided for the guest's base center (corresponds to the Phone 2 field in the center settings.
  • [InvoiceNo]: Invoice number generated for the appointment for which the prescription is needed.
  • [TreatmentList]: List of services booked in the appointment.
  • [AppDate]: Date of the issued prescription.
  • [CenterCity]: City where the guest’s base center is located.
  • [CenterZip]: Zip code/postal code of the guest's base center location.
  • [CenterAddress]: Complete address of the guest's base center (corresponds to the Address 1 and Address 2 field in the center settings).
  • [AssignedTo]: Name of the doctor who has treated the guest.
  • [SignedBy]: Name of the authorized doctor who signed the prescription. 
  • [SignedOn]: Date on which the authorized doctor signed the prescription. 
  • [PrescriptionsList]: List of items prescribed to the guest, along with dosage and instructions. 
  • [DOB]: Date of birth of the guest who is issued the prescription.
  • [GuestAddress]: Complete billing address of the guest registered in the guest's profile.
  • [GuestPhone]: Phone number registered for the guest.
  • [GuestCity]: City where the guest resides.
  • [AddtnlField1]: Additional information captured in the AddtnlField1 field in the employee's profile such as the DEA registration number or state license number.
  • [AddtnlField2]: Additional information captured in the AddtnlField2 field in the employee's profile such as the DEA registration number or state license number.
  • [ShipTo]: Name of the person to whom the prescription and the prescription items need to be delivered.
  • [ShippingInstructions]: Shipping address - usually the same as the address in the guest's profile.
    The address details can be edited in the prescription if needed. 
  • [AppDateInWords]: The prescription date ([AppDate]) in words.
  • [NextVisitDate]: The date on which the guest must next visit the center.
    Note
    : The Enforce next visit date in prescription must be enabled at the center level to be able to enter this information in the prescription (Admin > Organization > Center > Select the center name > Click Settings > Select the Enforce next visit date in prescription checkbox).
