This upgrade offers more configuration options to administrators that impact the way the front desk customizes and sells custom packages from the POS. The changes are as follows: 

Better presentation of organization level setting that specifies if the front desk can select a template while selling custom packages: The existing organization level setting that allows administrators to specify whether the front desk must select a template at the time of selling custom packages, is now split into two options:

  • Template selection is mandatory 
  • Template selection is optional 

The impact of using each option is outlined on the UI.

Easier for the front desk to add a bunch of services belonging to a service category in one go while selling custom packages based on a template: Zenoti now provides service categories that list services under them at the custom package template level. Administrators can specify whether services should be automatically loaded from the template when the front desk sells custom packages. This way, the front desk need not look for each service individually and can instead just select a service category.

Ability to restrict the front desk from making updates to payment schedules: Administrators at the organization level can control whether to allow the front desk to make changes to payment schedules freely, whether to allow such changes only after the user provides authentication, or whether to block such changes entirely. 

With the appropriate permissions (and the organization level settings), the front desk may make changes to the payment schedules of guests who have already purchased custom packages. They can change the date of payment, the amount to be paid, and the card used for payment.

Administration

More configuration options to control the names that appear in the list of Educators/Mentors on the Appointment Book 

If an employee has Educator or Mentor capabilities because the Mentor/Educator checkbox is selected from their Employee profile, then such an employee appears as a Mentor/Educator on the Appointment Book in the base center. 

If you want the same employee to appear as a Mentor/Educator across centers in the Appointment Book (so that the employee can provide ratings for employees across these centers), then you must:

  • Select the new Educator/Mentor permissions (Mentor, Add Mentor Ratings) from Organization level > Admin > Organizations > Security Roles > Name of a role > Employee Manager > Other Settings.
  • Include the same employee role in the required centers.

Note: Administrators can configure an alternate name for Educator such as Mentor from the center level (Admin > Organizations > Centers > Settings > Appointment Book > Educator Label).

Zenoti now provides a new report - the Mentor Sales Metrics report to track various metrics around employees who are mentors such as the total invoices, service sales, service count, and the retail service sales for which mentors are responsible.

Be More Secure with a Stronger Password Policy

Zenoti now enforces a new stronger password policy for new users (guests or employees) and existing users when they reset their password.

The new passwords that users create must:

  • Be at least 8 characters in length
  • Contain at least 1 lowercase and 1 uppercase letter
  • Contain at least 1 special character
  • Contain at least 1 number
  • Not contain the username

Loyalty Points

Restrict Loyalty Program to only Guests who have Purchased a Specific Membership

Zenoti now allows for greater flexibility in the way guests get enrolled into the loyalty program.

Earlier, by default, all guests were eligible to be enrolled into the loyalty program.

You can now restrict the enrollment to only the guests who have purchased a specific membership.

Define Different Qualification Periods for Loyalty Program Enrollment and Upgrades

Earlier, for new enrollments and upgrades, Zenoti considered the spent amount as per the Qualification Period.

Now you can define if Zenoti must consider the spent amount in the qualification period for first-time enrollments and on subsequent upgrades, if Zenoti should consider the spent amount from the current tier enrollment date.

New Guest Category – Loyalty Tier

Zenoti now allows you to create a new guest category called Loyalty Tier. Any guest who is a member of a tier is automatically enrolled in this guest category.

You can additionally select an icon for each of your new or existing tiers. The tier icon appears during appointment booking and on several other places to help the front office quickly identify the tier the guest belongs to.

Create a Stage Tier

Zenoti now gives you the flexibility to create a Stage Tier that allows guests in the stage tier to only accrue points but not redeem until they spend a certain amount and are upgraded to the next tier.

Example: If you have four tiers: Bronze, Silver, Gold, and Platinum, you can specify that guests of the Bronze tier can only accumulate points but not redeem them until they upgrade to either Silver, Gold, or Platinum tier.

Know More from the Points Tab of the Guest Profile

The Points tab of the guest profile is now enhanced to display the following:

  • Enrollment date of the guest into the loyalty program 
  • How much the guest has to spend and by when, to continue to remain in the current tier

This is in addition to the details you could view earlier: balance points, monetary value of the points, and accrual and redemption history.

Minor Enhancements and Bug Fixes

Print Job Cards from the List View of the Appointment Book

Till now, this option to print a Job Card was available only from the horizontal view of the Appointment Book. With this upgrade, you can view this option to print Job Cards from the List view of the Appointment Book too.

GST Enhancement for India

  • When you export the list of services or products offered by your center, you can now additionally see the SAC and HSN codes associated with services and products respectively.
  • A new column, GST Sequence Number has been in the Sales - Service, Sales - Product, and Collection details reports. Depending on the invoice type, this column allows you track Advance Receipts, Credit Notes, Refund Vouchers, Tax Invoices, Tax Receipt Vouchers, Tax Refund Vouchers, and Combination of Tax Invoice and Tax Receipt Voucher.
