Guests Can Now Avail Discounts on Group Bookings

With this upgrade, guests can avail discounts on group bills. Note that the front desk can give either a flat value discount or a percentage discount on the group invoice.

Anyone who can give discounts on individual invoices can give discounts on group bills too.
Note: The ability of the front desk to give discounts is controlled by the organizational setting Apply discounts on invoice price (Admin > Organizations > Organizations > Settings > Invoice and Receipts > Invoice Settings). Read Help article

Award Flat or Percentage Commissions on the Sale of Series Packages

You can now configure Zenoti to award flat or percentage (of sales price or revenue) commissions when employees sell non-scheduled series packages. Employees earn these commissions only when the invoice is closed. That is, employees earn commission only after guests make the full payment.

Note: Currently, Zenoti does not support awarding such flat or percentage commissions for scheduled series packages. Read Help article

Enhancements in Target Segments

We have added a number of new filters in Target Segments that help you meet the following business needs:

  • Target guests who have not booked a future appointment: You can now target guests who visited you for an appointment a few days ago, but have not made any future appointments. To achieve this, create a custom target segment based on Visits, select the criteria as Next Visit, and the operator as Does not Exist. Read more about the Visits criteria

The following screenshot shows how you can create a target segment that consists of guests who have visited you less than a week ago, but do not have any appointment for the next one month.
  • Target guests whose membership is set to expire: You can now send membership renewal reminders to guests whose membership is set to expire and who do not have Auto Renewal set.

To achieve this, create a custom target segment based on Membership, select the criteria as Will Expire, and the operator as Equal To and specify your desired time period. Read more about Membership criteria

Administration

Send Appointment Reminders Immediately After Bookings are Made

In Zenoti, you can schedule appointment reminders to go out:

  • One day before the scheduled appointment (between 6 AM to 10 PM)
  • On the morning of the scheduled appointment (between 6 AM to 10 AM)
  • (Number of) Minutes before the start of the appointment

Earlier, if a guest booked an appointment that is scheduled to start after the appointment reminders have been sent, no appointment reminder was sent to the guest.

Consider this example. You have configured Zenoti to send appointment reminders at 8:00 AM every day. Sam calls in today and makes a booking for 11:00 AM today. Earlier, in such cases, Sam would not receive an appointment reminder as Zenoti has already sent out the appointment reminders for the day (at 8 AM).

Now, you have a new option Send notification immediately if booking is done after the scheduled reminder. This option allows you to configure Zenoti to send appointment reminders to guests even after the scheduled appointment reminders have been sent out.

Consider this example. You have configured Zenoti to send appointment reminders at 8:00 AM. Sam calls in today and makes a booking for 11 AM today. If you have configured the Send notification immediately option, then Sam receives the appointment reminder notification even though the scheduled appointment reminders have been sent out. Minor Enhancements and Bug Fixes

  • Quickly print invoices: The front desk can now easily print invoices from the appointment context menu using the Print Receipt option. Based on the invoice status (Open or Closed), Zenoti prints the appropriate details.  Note that anyone having read-only access to the Appointment Book can also view the Print Receipt option. Read Help article
  • Easily view a list of all employees with a particular role, from across your centers: Zenoti now has a new Employee tab on the Roles and Permissions screen. You can use this tab to quickly view  the list of employees within your organization with a given role.
  • Zenoti shows an alert when you reopen an invoice that belongs to a Group Invoice: With this upgrade, when the front desk tries to reopen an invoice that belongs to a group invoice, Zenoti shows an alert telling the front desk that the reopened invoice will no longer be a part of the group invoice. The front desk can then take an informed decision whether to open the invoice or not.
  • Users can now view the entire list of Past Appointments from the Appointment tab of the Guest History page: Earlier, users were unable to navigate to the next page while viewing Past Appointments from the Appointments tab of the Guest History page. Now, users can view the entire list of past appointments.
  • The Search feature is now working on the Referrals page: Earlier, when you searched for a referral on the Referrals page (Center > Admin > Categories > Referrals), Zenoti was not returning any results. Now, the Search feature is working as expected on this page.
  • Users are now able to waive membership invoices from the Suspended Memberships report when using Mozilla Firefox: In the past, users were unable to Waive membership invoices from the Suspended Memberships report (Admin > Reports > Memberships > Suspended > Refresh > Waive) using the Mozilla Firefox browser. This issue is now fixed.
  • The front desk can now remove a card on file even if the package invoice has been deleted: Consider this example. A guest has a card on file and links this card to pay for a package. Earlier, the front desk could not remove a card on file if the package invoice was deleted. Now, the front desk can remove a card on file even if the package invoice has been deleted.
  • Users unable to add a person under the ‘Card Shared with’ section from the Guest History page: In the past, users could not view an option to add a person under the Card Shared with option (General tab > Guest Profile/Guest Details page) despite having the required permissions. With this upgrade, users with the required permissions can view an option Add New under the Card Shared with section.
