Below is the description of all criteria and operators to build custom target segments based on memberships. 

Criteria: Expired
Operators:
Between; equal to; less than; more than
Description: Targets customers based on when their memberships expired in the past. Select an operator and enter a time in terms of days, weeks, months, or years.

For example, if you select between, and then enter 2 weeks (14 days) and 4 weeks (28 days) from the lists, and run the campaign with this target segment on December 1, the system includes all the guests whose memberships have expired between November 3 and November 17. 

Criteria: Froze
Operators:
Between; equal to; less than; more than
Description: Targets customers based on members whose memberships have been frozen. Select an operator and enter a time in terms of days, weeks, months, or years.

For example, if you select between, then if you enter 2 weeks (14 days) and 4 weeks (28 days) from the lists, and run a campaign with this target segment on December 1, Zenoti includes all the guests whose memberships were frozen between November 3 and November 17. 

Criteria: Name
Operators: Is; is not
Description: Targets customers based on their memberships, irrespective of the membership status. Select an operator and then select a membership from the list that appears.

If you select is, the system includes all the customer who have purchased the selected membership, and if you select is not, the system removes all the customers who have purchased the selected membership. If you select All memberships from the list of membership names, the system includes all the guests who have purchased any of your memberships, both recurring and non-recurring.

Criteria: No Usage
Operators: Between; equal to; less than; more than
Description: Targets customers based on non-usage of the membership in the selected time period. Select an operator and enter a time in terms of days, weeks, months, or years.

For example, if you select between, then enter 2 weeks (14 days) and 4 weeks (28 days) from the lists, and run the campaign with this target segment on December 1. The system includes all the guests who have not used their membership between November 17 and November 28.

Criteria: Purchased
Operators: Between; equal to; less than; more than
Description: Targets customers based on when they purchased a membership in the past. Select an operator and enter a time in terms of days, weeks, months, or years.

For example, if you select between, then enter 2 weeks (14 days) and 4 weeks (28 days) from the lists, and run the campaign with this target segment on December 1, the system includes all the guests who purchased a membership between November 17 and November 28. 

Criteria: Type
Operators: is
Description: Targets customers based on the type of their membership. Available options are:

  • Primary
  • Secondary
  • All members
  • Not a member

If you select All Members, the system includes all your guests in a membership currently irrespective of the membership status such as Active or Inactive.
Note: If the status of a membership is expired, it is not included in the segment. Expired memberships are included in the target segment only if the target segment type is not a member.
If you select Not a member, all guests who haven't purchased a membership before, or whose memberships are expired are included in the segment. 

Criteria: Will Expire
Operators:
Between; equal to; less than; more than
Auto Renewal: Set; Not Set; Any
Description: Targets customers based on when their memberships are going to expire and the membership auto renewal status.
Select an operator, enter a time in terms of days, weeks, months, or years, and the auto renewal status.
For example, if you select between, then enter 2 weeks (14 days) and 4 weeks (28 days) from the lists and set the Auto Renewal to Any, and run the campaign with this target segment on December 1, the system includes all the guests whose memberships expire between December 15 and December 29. 

Criteria: Status
Description
: (for non-recurring)
Membership Status: Active, Expired, Closed
Targets all customers with active, expired, or closed non-recurring memberships.
For example, if you select Expired as the Membership Status, all customers whose non-recurring membership expired in the selected time period are listed.

Description: (for recurring)
Membership Status: All, Active, Inactive, Frozen, Cancelled, Expired, Suspended, Failed
Recurrence Status: All, Active, Cancelled, Frozen, Expired, Suspended, Failed

Targets customers with recurring memberships that are in the selected membership status and recurrence status.
For example, if you select Active as the Membership Status and Failed as the Recurrence Status, all customers with active recurring memberships but whose card payments failed are listed.
Note: You can create combinations of membership and recurrence statuses to get the target audience and send out promotions or notifications to them accordingly.  

Criteria: Will Freeze
Operators:
Between; equal to; less than; more than
Description: Targets customers based on when their memberships are going to freeze in the future. Select an operator and enter a time in terms of days, weeks, months, or years.
For example, if you select between, then enter 2 weeks (14 days) and 4 weeks (28 days) from the lists, and run the campaign with this target segment on December 1, Zenoti includes all the guests whose memberships will freeze between December 15 and December 29. 

Criteria: Will Unfreeze
Operators:
Between; equal to; less than; more than
Description: Targets customers based on when their memberships are going to unfreeze in the future. Select an operator and enter a time in terms of days, weeks, months, or years.
For example, if you select between, then enter 2 weeks (14 days) and 4 weeks (28 days) from the lists, and run the campaign with this target segment on December 1, Zenoti includes all the guests whose memberships will unfreeze between December 15 and December 29.
