You can choose to accrue or award loyalty points to your guests even when they make custom payments. Previously, a guest was awarded loyalty points only when the guest made a payment using credit card, cash, or cheque. 

To create a custom payment and enable Loyalty point accrual, perform the following steps:

1. At the Organization level, click Categories > Custom Payments.

2. Click Add on the top right corner.

3. In the Name field, enter a name for the custom payment.

4. Select the Award Loyalty Points check box.

5. Click Finish.

You can enable Loyalty Point accrual for an existing custom payment as well by selecting the 'Award loyalty points' check box for the custom payment type.
