A Tax Invoice is a statement of the sale of products and services (which include service fees such as no show, cancellation, or freeze fee).

The POS window generates a Tax Invoice when you collect payment and close invoices that include the following

  • Only products
  • Only services (for the current day or past appointments)
  • Services (for the current day or past appointments) and products
  • Membership with no credit amount and no service credit revenue (SCR) defined
  • Only services redeemed from a package
    Note: In this case, the receipt displays the service price based on the apportioned package price and the tax against the service based on the apportioned price.
  • Only services redeemed using loyalty points accrued on the pre-tax amount
    Note: In this case, the receipt displays the loyalty points redemption as a discount.
  • Only services redeemed using loyalty points accrued on the post-tax amount
    Note: In this case, the receipt displays the loyalty points redemption as payment. Tax is collected on the full amount and not on the net loyalty points payment.
