With the introduction of GST, every business in India is required to declare the list of goods and services they offer using specific GST codes.
Service Accounting Code (SAC) is used to classify services that fall under Goods and Service Tax (GST) in India.
For all the packages you offer, you must obtain the respective SAC and update Zenoti with the same. However, this is not a mandatory requirement - you can choose to add this information for better tax association.
Important: Only after you enable GST - India, you can enter the SAC code for packages.
To update the SAC for packages in Zenoti
- Ensure that you are at the organization level.
- Navigate to Admin > Resources > Packages> Select the package name.
- In the General tab, scroll down to the SAC field, and then update or enter the SAC number.
- Click Save.
The SAC code is updated for the package.
Repeat steps 2 to 4 to update the SAC code for all the packages that you offer.
