Only users with appropriate permissions can modify the start date or expiration date for a package. To check if the user has this permission:

Go to Organizational level > Admin > Organization > Security Roles > Click a Role > Permissions tab > Administrator section > Packages > Extend (checkbox must be selected).

To update the Start date or Expiration date, the user with this permission can go to Appointment Book > Search for a guest > Profile > Packages tab > Locate the appropriate package > Click Start Date / Expiration Date to update the dates using the calendar.
