Your providers can use the App to book new appointments or add services to an existing appointment.

Verify whether your center currently allows employees to book new appointments or add services to an existing appointment

At the center level, navigate to Admin > Organization > Centers > Center Name > Settings > Employee > Employee Mobile Application.

  • If the Allow therapist to book a new service checkbox is selected - it means that you allow your employees to book a new appointment.
  • If the Allow therapist to book another service checkbox is selected - it means that you allow your employees to add services to an existing appointment.

Employees can book new appointments or add services to an existing appointment only if their role has access to the appointment book and has the permission to add appointments.

To allow your employees to book new appointments or add services to existing appointments

  1. At the organization level, navigate to Admin > Organization > Security Roles > Employee role > General tab and ensure Can access Appointment Book is selected.
    Note: Providers who do not have Can access Appointment Book enabled can still book appointments, but cannot assign the appointment to any other provider other than themselves. They must approach your front desk or manager to change the provider.
    Example: If Rebecca creates an appointment for your guest Clara for 11:00 AM, and later realizes that she wouldn't be around when Clara comes in, Rebecca must ask your front desk or manager to have Clara's appointment assigned to any other available provider, but she can't do it herself.
  2. At the organization level, navigate to Admin > Organization > Security Roles > Employee role > Permissions tab > Appointment Book > Appointments and verify if the Add permission is enabled for the role.
  3. Click Save.
