If your Admin has not selected any tax group for your center for Inventory when you click the Inventory tab on your dashboard, you get the following error message:

Important: In case your region or location does not follow a tax system, you must create a No Tax group and select it for Inventory.

To select a tax group for inventory

  1. Ensure you are the Org level.
  2. Navigate to Admin > Centers > (Center Name).
    The center details are displayed.
  3. Click the Tax Groups tab.
    A list of tax groups defined for services, products, memberships, packages, giftcards, and inventory are displayed.

4. Select the desired tax group(s) in the Inventory column.
Important: If your business follows the inclusive-tax model, create and assign a zero tax group for inventory.

5. Click Save.
The selected tax groups appear in the Tax drop-down in the Purchase Order page.
