Zenoti provides you the ability to create push notification template at the organization level. Employees using Zenoti Mobile receive such push notification alerts before their shift starts or ends as per the time set at the center level. 

Note: The ability to configure automated message is not available to all. To enable this feature for your organization, contact Zenoti Support.

Before you Begin

For your employees to receive the push notifications on their devices (iOS or Android), they need to turn on from the device's Settings (device Settings > Notifications > Zenoti Mobile > turn on).
Note: For the changes to take effect, the employees must log off from Zenoti Mobile and then log back in.

To create notifications for Employee Check-in

1. At the organization level, navigate to Admin > Organization > Organizations.
    The Manage Organization appears.
2. Click the Email/Texts tab.
3. Scroll down to the Employee section.
4. Click Edit next to Check-in Alert.

    The Edit page appears.
5. In the Check-in Alert - Push Notifications section configure the template as follows:
    a. Select the Turn this automated push message on checkbox.
    b. Use the Available Macros (refer to the last section in this article) to customize the
        content you want to include in the notification.

    c. Click Save.
        The notification is created for check-in and the employee receives an alert during
         the start of their shift. 

To create notifications for Employee Checkout

1. At the organizational level, navigate to Admin > Organization > Organizations.        
   The Manage Organization appears.
2. Click the Email/Texts tab.
3. Scroll down to the Employee section.
4. Click Edit next to Checkout Alert.

    The Edit page appears.
5. In the Checkout Alert - Push Notifications section configure the template as    
   follows:
    a. Select the Turn this automated push message on checkbox.
    b. Use the Available Macros (refer to the last section in this article) to customize the
        content you want to include in the notification. 

    c. Click Save.
        The notification is created for check-out and the employee receives an alert
        during the end of their shift. 

Available Macros

A macro is a placeholder text that gets replaced with specific data when inserted into an automated push notification. Use the below macros to customize your notification to include information such as organization name, guest name, and service name. For example, the [CenterName] macro gets replaced with the actual center’s name.

  • [FirstName]: First name of the guest 
  • [LastName]: Last name of the guest
  • [OrgName]: Name of the organization where the employee works
  • [CenterName]: Name of the center where the employee needs to check-in or check-out
  • [ShiftStartTime]: Time when the shift starts for the employee 
  • [ShiftEndTime]: Time when the shift ends for the employee
