In Zenoti, you can enable the printing of Australia-specific GST formats at the center level. You can then print and email this receipt format to your guests.

When you enable this receipt format in Zenoti Web, it also becomes available in Zenoti Mobile (iOS).

Before you Begin

  1. Tax-inclusive pricing must be set at the organizational level. Reach out to Support to enable this feature for you.
  2. Ensure that you have created the appropriate tax groups for GST and have enabled them for centers. Read: Create Tax Groups.
  3. Assign the GST tax groups to various items at the center such as services, products, memberships, packages, and gift cards. Read: Associate Tax Groups to Various Items in a Center
  4. Update the tax group for each service, product, and package at the organization level with the GST tax group. Read: Update the Tax Group for Various Business Offerings – GST

To enable the Australian GST receipt format:

  1. Ensure that you are at the center level.
  2. Navigate to Admin > Organization > Centers > <CenterName>.
  3. Click the Settings tab > Expand Invoice & Receipt.
  4. Select the GST receipt – South Africa/Australia option in the Printer Format. The receipt is ready to be printed in the Australian format.

GST for each line item

The GST receipt format of Australia also mandates that the tax amount be displayed for each line item.

To enable GST for each line item in an invoice:

  1. Ensure that you are at the organization level.
  2. Navigate to Admin > Organization > Organizations > Settings.
  3. Expand Invoice and Receipt.
  4. Select Print Tax Amount on the Invoice and Receipt.

Note: You can also configure the label for “Tax” in the receipts to suit your business requirements. Follow these steps:

  1. Ensure that you are at the organization level.
  2. Navigate to Admin > Organization > Organizations > Settings.
  3. Expand Invoice and Receipt.
  4. Under the Labels section locate Tax Label for Receipt.
  5. Give the label for the text “Tax”, as per your requirement.
